Telephone
If you would like to make an appointment, please call during regular
office hours and our front office coordinators will be happy to help
you. If you are already a patient, for your convenience one of our
registered nurses is usually available to answer questions and address
concerns. If a nurse cannot speak with you at the time you call,
please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as
possible. Our regular office hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday
through Friday, with lunch scheduled from 12-1 pm.
Although the office
is open on weekends and holidays for monitoring and andrology needs,
you will need to leave a message and one of our staff will return
your call as soon as possible.

After-Hours Emergencies
For fever (above 101°), acute abdominal pain and/or unusual bleeding, call
the Center’s answering service at 248-858-6842. Our service will forward
your information to the staff member on call: one of our registered nurses
or Dr. Mersol-Barg. Your call will be returned as promptly as possible. If
you have severe pain and/or bleeding, call 911 or go directly to a hospital
emergency room.
Non-Emergencies When the Office is Closed
Our answering machine will take your message and someone will return your call
the next business day. You can also call the answering service if you need
a quicker response.
Medication Instructions/Daily Lab Results
On non-holiday weekdays, you will arrive in the morning, between 7:30 and 9:00
am, for your ultrasound and hormone level monitoring. One of our nurses
will call you at around 1-2 pm with instructions regarding dosage, timing,
treatment plan and your next monitoring appointment. On holidays and weekends,
you will still arrive in the morning for your ultrasound and hormone level
monitoring (starting times may vary); however, you will be called by Dr.
Mersol-Barg or one of our nurses with results and instructions at around
12 noon. Please be prepared to leave a phone number where you can be reached
at those times; you should also provide an alternative number with an answering
device, in case you are not available when the phone call is placed so that
you will still receive your results and instructions.
